Terms & Conditions

  • Gates for the festival open at 1:00pm and close at 11:00pm
  • There will be gate sales if tickets are still available
  • Coastella will not permit the entry of attendees who break the following conditions of entry, and will eject those who break these rules at their discretion without warning, with no refunds provided. Items deemed to be in violation of these conditions of entry will be confiscated and not returned
  • No outside food or drink is to brought into the festival – bags will be searched
  • No use of illicit drugs or illegal substances
  • Organisers reserve the right to photograph or film at the event, they also obtain the right to use photography during and following the event for press and social media
  • All online purchased tickets are subject to a booking fee – Tickets are non-transferable
  • Musician line up may be subject to change
  • The organiser will not be held liable for any damages, injuries or loss held during the festival, if the ticket holder is deemed negligent or unforeseen actions of other festival-goers. Admission is at the festivalgoers own risk
  • Supervised Event – All under 18’s must be accompanied by an a parent or legal guardian ticket holder
  • Wristbands are provided to all festivalgoers, wristbands for purchasing alcohol will be provided and must be worn if purchasing alcohol. ID must be presented to security to obtain a wristband – Accepted ID is current NZ Drivers License, Passport or current HANZ 18+ card
  • Behaviour – All festival goers must act in an orderly manner. Excessive alcohol consumption will not be tolerated. Security and staff may refuse entry or evict any persons that are behaving in a disorderly or inappropriate manner.
  • No construction or attempts to do so of any form of fire, bonfire or naked flame
  • No pets are permitted within festival grounds
  • Health & Safety – A Health and Safety plan is in place with a Health & Safety officer onsite during the festival
  • No attempt to bring into the venue any of the following items (but not limited to), Illicit Drugs or illegal substances, Fireworks, Weapons, Gang patches or affiliated clothing, Lasers, Any forms of glass, including glass containers and/or drinking vessels, BBQs, Material to construct fires or weapons or Other dangerous items.
  • The festival will be family friendly atmosphere
  • Alcohol will not be allowed to be brought into the venue with bag checks at the door
  • Intoxicated persons will be refused entry
  • Patrons wishing to purchase alcohol will be ID’d at the door and provided a wristband
  • Only those with wristbands will be allowed in the restricted area to purchase alcohol
  • Non- and low-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase
  • There will be a range of reasonably priced food options, and people will not be permitted to bring food into the venue
  • People are be encouraged to prepare their transport options prior to the event, including purchasing a bus transfer with ticket or ensuring there is a sober driver in the group
  • A taxi ramp will be onsite, and people are encouraged to share taxis home
  • Possible walking and cycling routes are advertised
