Terms & Conditions

  • Gates for the festival open at 1:00pm
  • The festival closes at 9:00pm, and will be followed by a separately-ticketed indoor R18 after-party (9:00pm – 11:30pm)
  • There will be gate sales if tickets are still available
  • Coastella will not permit the entry of attendees who break the following conditions of entry, and will eject those who break these rules at their discretion without warning, with no refunds provided. Items deemed to be in violation of these conditions of entry will be confiscated and not returned
  • No outside food or drink is to brought into the festival, with the exception of packed lunches for children – bags will be searched
  • No use of illicit drugs or illegal substances
  • Organisers reserve the right to photograph or film at the event, they also obtain the right to use photography during and following the event for press and social media
  • Musician line up may be subject to change
  • The organiser will not be held liable for any damages, injuries or loss held during the festival, if the ticket holder is deemed negligent or unforeseen actions of other festival-goers. Admission is at the festivalgoers own risk
  • Supervised Event – All under 18’s must be accompanied by their own parent or legal guardian
  • Wristbands are provided to all festival-goers, and must be worn at all times. ID must be presented to security to obtain an R18 wristband – Accepted ID is current NZ Drivers License, Passport or current HANZ 18+ card
  • Alcohol is not allowed to be brought into the venue – there will be bag checks at the door
  • Non- and low-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase
  • Behaviour – All festival goers must act in an orderly manner. Intoxicated persons will be refused entry. Excessive alcohol consumption will not be tolerated. Security and staff may refuse entry or evict any persons that are behaving in a disorderly or inappropriate manner.
  • The festival will be a family friendly atmosphere:  no attempt to bring into the venue any of the following items (but not limited to), Illicit Drugs or illegal substances, Fireworks, Weapons, Gang patches or affiliated clothing, Lasers, Any forms of glass, including glass containers and/or drinking vessels, BBQs, Material to construct fires or weapons or Other dangerous items.
  • No pets are permitted within festival grounds
  • People are be encouraged to prepare their transport options prior to the event, including purchasing a bus transfer with ticket or ensuring there is a sober driver in the group
  • A taxi ramp will be onsite, and people are encouraged to share taxis home
